I moved to Cambridge

After almost 5 years of working in the beautiful city of Heidelberg (Germany), the time has come to move on.

I will continue doing my line of research in the same lab (Saez-Rodriguez Group), but this time as a staff member at EMBL-EBI, located on the Wellcome Sanger Institute campus.

I’ve been to the campus a couple of times before, and I have to say that it’s impressive. The green spaces and the architecture make it a really nice place to visit and walk around. Here are a few pics I recently took. One of my favourite times of day is dusk, when the sunlight interacts with the architecture in ways that bring out its beauty.

In terms of science, there are so many talks and events to attend that I don’t think I’ll have enough time to attend everything I’d like to. There are also plenty of cosy coffee shops and nice pubs that I’m looking forward to exploring!
